Alf Newlin, President & CEO
Mr. Newlin is a co-founder and Financial Sciences' President and CEO. He has over twenty years of experience in finance, financial software technology, and in working with large financial institutions active in the capital markets. Mr. Newlin holds an MBA from Columbia University, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from St. John's College.
Shishir Hardikar, Director
Mr. Hardikar is jointly responsible for Financial Sciences' software engineering with Mr. Vafa, and has over ten years of experience in financial software design and development as well as business management experience. Mr. Hardikar holds an MBA from New York University, an MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from M.S. University, India.
Nicholas Mitsos, Managing Director
Mr. Mitsos, a co-founder, is responsible for Financial Sciences' new business development. He has over twenty years of experience working in the financial industry. Prior to working for Financial Sciences, he worked for Citibank and Telerate. Mr. Mitsos holds JD and MBA degrees from Indiana University, a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc from Oxford University.
Bryan Thomas, General Manager, Financial Sciences Asia
Mr. Thomas is General Manager of Financial Sciences' subsidiary in Beijing, China. Mr. Thomas, who joined Financial Sciences in 1996, has primarily worked in Asia. Prior to joining Financial Sciences, Mr. Thomas worked at GE and GE Capital in Corporate Treasury and Financial Planning, and is a graduate of GE's internal management program. Mr. Thomas holds a BS in Finance from the University of Florida.
Behrouz Vafa, Director
Mr. Vafa is a co-founder, and is co-responsible for Financial Sciences' software engineering. Mr. Vafa has over twenty years of experience in software design and development. He holds an MSc in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from M.I.T. and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
